You may need to qx8 the SATA ports, for recognition of the device. I have searched the mb manual updated the drivers, even considered flashing the bios but bottled it and googled my little heart out but still cant get anywhere.
You also have the choice to try other boot paths, or not. Anyone got any ideas Thanks in advance. Psychostreak, dataman – thanks. If you take a look at the manual posted abovethe only place I can think that the drive would show is the option for selecting the hard drive boot priority section Try a different header.

It coulda been worse Yes, my password is: Flashed fine, but turns out the “new” bios is the same as the old, so I didn’t gain anything. Fri Aug 28, 2: It is sats a “default” that the ports be open. I have all the drivers and know how to load them.

I think the issue may be with windows. Free tech support, motherboard ID, and more. Log in or Sign up. Sun Aug 23, 2: Your mobo handbook should detail the proceedure for setting the ports for storage drives. I’m also willing to be persuaded not to fix the bios at all.
