Vista did, but they took it out of 7 and I posted a response to your comment last week but forgot to click on the reply link below your comment. Before install the fall update, it works correctly.
I had 3 other scsi cards before and could not get them to work, but the exact model he used did not require any changes aadptec the code.

Ahhh, the Adaptec UW scsi controller needs a driver installed. Have you tried downloading then opening with notepad?
How can i map the port so i can be able to install the printer on that port and able to use the scsi. I disabled driver signing, installed legacy device in dev manager, still no go.

Apparently, WinXP bit can use the adapttec. Good word of mouth goes a long way. Did you edit the file and change it to reflect your own model number like I outlined in the article? Finally I found a post where a guy said, another poster has posted a downloadable. Do I need to install the windows vista driver first and then these drivers?
Windows 7 does not like the default bit driver for my U2 card aic78u2.

It is now showing in dev mgr but Adapted am getting error code 10 can not start in windows 7 64 bit. I donwloaded the driver file, changed part of one line, and the card was recognized. This is a SCSI printer?

First, thank you for your very clear post. Have you tried going back to the 32 bit drivers after making the alterations? Email required Address never made public.
